The Des Moines Activity Center is the city's senior services hub. Listed programs include Enhance Fitness, Tai Chi, nutritional lunches Monday through Thursday, a Meals on Wheels partnership, SHIBA Medicare counseling, a medical lending closet, foot care, grief and caregiver support groups, AARP Smart Driver classes, elder law appointments, drop-in games, monthly dessert socials, bingo, and trips.
