Asian Counseling and Referral Service is a Seattle nonprofit serving Asians, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders and other communities, with programs spanning behavioral health, employment, youth, citizenship and immigration, and aging. Its Aging Services for Older Adults program supports low-income seniors age 55 and older through multilingual case management, the Community Living Connections resource line, Health Home and Care Transitions care coordination, a food bank that distributes culturally appropriate foods, and the Club Bamboo Senior Center with meals, activities, and senior lunch programs. Services are by appointment and serve primarily King County, Washington.
Cost. Many aging services are free or low-cost for income-eligible older adults; some services are insurance-billable. Auxiliary aids and language access available on request.
