The statewide office of the WA Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program, your free, independent advocate if your loved one is in a nursing home, assisted living, adult family home, or enhanced services facility. Operated by the Multi-Service Center in Federal Way and contracts with regional offices across the state.
The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program operates Washington's federally mandated Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program. The office advocates for residents of nursing homes, adult family homes, assisted living facilities, and enhanced services facilities, receives complaints, promotes Resident Rights, and contracts with regional nonprofit and county agencies including Blue Mountain Action Council, AAA and Disabilities of Southwest Washington, Multi-Service Center, People For People, Lewis-Mason-Thurston AAA, Kitsap County AAA, Pierce County Aging and LTC, and SNAP to deliver local ombudsman services across Washington's 13 regions. The program is hosted by the Multi-Service Center, a Federal Way nonprofit, and reaches statewide at 1-800-562-6028.
