Cowlitz Indian Tribe program for elders age 60 and up, with meals, homebound food delivery, transportation, and an Elder Care Advocate.
The Cowlitz Indian Tribe Elders Program is based at the tribal campus in Toledo and supports Cowlitz elders age 60 and older and their spouses. Services include congregate meals Monday through Thursday, homebound meal delivery, frozen salmon fillet distribution through the Natural Resources Department, the kəkáyʔ Grandma's Kitchen food pantry, elder care packages, respite care, light chore help, prescription pickup and delivery, wheelchair-accessible transportation, wellness seminars, day trips, and an Elder Care Advocate for appointments and care coordination. Operated by a federally recognized tribe in Lewis County, Washington.
