Washington Continuing Care Residents Association

Free

Statewide 501(c)(4) member association of CCRC residents in Washington. Publishes a consumer guide to CCRCs, an explainer of the WA CCRC registration law (RCW 18.390), and a map of registered CCRCs in the state.

WACCRA is a nonprofit membership organization of residents and prospective residents of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (also known as Life Plan Communities) in Washington. It maintains educational resources on CCRC contracts, the registration regime under chapter 18.390 RCW, links to the DSHS CCRC Registry Lookup, and a state-agency reference page describing the various WA agencies (DSHS, OIC, AG, etc.) that oversee or protect CCRC residents.
