Walk With Ease (Washington)

Walk With Ease is an Arthritis Foundation program promoted in Washington by DOH. The Washington DOH version is self-directed. Participants register online, receive a guidebook or e-book, and complete a six-week walking program at their own pace with weekly supportive emails. Walk With Ease is recognized as evidence-based for adults with arthritis and others looking to start a walking habit.
Who qualifies
Open to all Washington state residents aged 18 and older. Especially designed for adults with arthritis or joint pain.
What it covers
Less arthritis pain, better balance, improved walking distance, and the social motivation of a regular group.
Cost
Free to all Washington state residents. The self-directed guidebook or e-book is no-cost.

Contact your local AAA, senior center, or DOH for an upcoming Walk With Ease group, or request the self-directed version.
