Caregiver Training (WA HCLA)
WA DSHS HCLA
HCLA's caregiver training resources connect unpaid family caregivers to educational seminars, conferences, and workshops, including Powerful Tools for Caregiving, a series developed for family members caring for someone with a chronic illness, teaching self-care tools, communication strategies, ways to deal with difficult feelings, and how to make tough caregiving decisions. Local Family Caregiver Support Programs offer additional training and educational opportunities.
