FreeSound Generations-affiliated "without walls" senior center serving NE Seattle with programming, outreach, and mental/behavioral health referrals for older adults of all backgrounds.
The Lake City-Northgate Senior Center Project (LCNG) takes a "without walls" approach with a strong emphasis on equity and inclusion. Older adults of all backgrounds participate in programs and activities like Bingo, Mahjong, and art classes. LCNG also provides outreach, resources, and referrals for mental and behavioral health support to older adults in NE Seattle.
About Day programs & senior centers
Drop-in places to spend the day. Classes, fitness, lunch, social activities, transportation. Often free or donation-based. The most underrated part of staying home.
